Shelby Collier and Katie Keller both took home first place finishes at the Putnam County League Meet held Friday at Ottoville. Collier placed first in the pole vault as she established a new Continental Girls Track standard by clearing 8’8”. Keller placed first in the 300M Hurdles with a personal best of 46.52. Keller also took second in the 100M Hurdles and fifth in the 200M for the girls. Maddie Burke added a second for the girls in the High Jump. Taron Butler led the boys with a third place finish in the Long Jump and Trevor Brecht added a fifth in the Long Jump, Luke Recker placed fourth in the Discus for the boys while Trevor Brecht placed 4th in the 200M
Columbus Grove swept both potions of the meet. On the Boys side, the Bulldogs had 165 points while Pandora Gilboa placed second with 117 points and Kalida was third with 107. Continental placed 6th with 40 points in the 8 team field (this is likely the first time that the PCL has had an 8 team field in a long time).
