The ladies at Christ United Methodist Church have planned the menu for their “First Wednesday of the Month” community meal for Wednesday, May 3rd and they are going retro! Turkey a la King was a popular staple at banquets in the early 60’s (it was also a regular on the school menu rotation!). With that in mind, on the menu is Turkey a la King with assorted salads and desserts. What a meal! The lunch will be served 11:30-12:30, dine-in or carry-out. Cost is by donation and all are invited for a warm meal and a friendly gathering! All proceeds go directly to the local food pantry.
