The special meeting for the Continental School Board was held at 4:30 p.m. on October 26, 2018 in the administrative office. The meeting was called to order by the president Dean Bidlack. Treasurer Bev Sabo was absent from the meeting.
Treasurer’s Report:
The Board:
•Approved the five-year forecast.
Superintendent’s Report:
•Approved the following supplemental contract, pending proper certification and satisfactory FBI/BCI background checks for school year 2018-2019: Melissa Logan, 7th Grade Girls Basketball Coach
•Approved Laura Frost as an after-school intervention teacher for students in grades 1-6.
•Entered into executive session at 4:40 p.m. to discuss the employment of a public employee and exited at 4:56 p.m.
•Approved 12-week medical sick leave for Treasurer Beverly Sabo, effective October 24, 2018 thru January 15, 2019. Return date is January 16, 2019.
•Approved Ann Lamb as interim treasurer, and assigned her the duties and responsibilities of the treasurer’s position, pending proper certification and satisfactory FBI/BCI background checks, effective October 29, 2018 through January 15, 2019.
The meeting adjourned at 5:01 p.m. The next regular meeting will be held on November 20, 2018 at 5:00 p.m in the administrative office.
