The Continental Blue & Gold Club held their annual 5th & 6th grade boys basketball tournaments this past Sunday. The teams each played 4 games with the top team in each pool playing for the championship. In the 5th grade division, the Miller City Wildcats took the champion spot with the Ayersville Pilots as runners-up. For the 6th grade, it was the Ayersville Pilots who won an exciting overtime thriller over this years Runners-Up, the Glandorf Titans. The Continental teams both finished the tournament with 2 wins and 2 losses. Congratulations to all the players!
Thank you to all the volunteers who help make the Continental Blue & Gold Classic a success! Whether it be referees, scorekeepers, concession workers or ticket takers, it takes a lot of volunteer hours to put on a successful tournament and the help is greatly appreciated! This coming Sunday, February 23, the 5th & 6th Girls Blue & Gold Club Classic will be held on the Continental Local School campus.
