2025 will be the first year since the OHSAA Boys Basketball tournament expanded the number of divisions from 4 to 7. Not much change for Continental High as they will be back at the Elida District, only this time in Division VII instead of Division IV. Returning with the Pirates to the Elida District are Miller City, Leipsic, Kalida, Ottoville, Pandora Gilboa, Fort Jennings and Cory Rawson. Holgate will join the Elida field from the Bryan District. Pandora Gilboa won the Elida DIV District title last year. Putnam County Rival Columbus Grove is assigned to the DVI Elida District.
All Sectional Semifinal and Finals for the Elida District will be held between February 17 and February 22 at the better seeded site. District Semifinal and Finals will be held between February 24 and March 1 at Elida.
The Elida District winner will face the Lima Senior District winner. Fostoria and Bryan Districts make up the other half of the Regional bracket.
