Library hours are Monday (2-8pm), Wednesday (2-8pm), Thursday (9am-6pm), and Saturday (9am-3pm). There are six public computers and wireless internet is available. A Thomas the Train/Sodor village play area is a popular attraction for the little ones. Story Time is at 6:30pm on Mondays. To contact the library, call 419-596-3727.
The Continental Library, a branch of the Putnam County Library, was located in the City Building from 1955 – 2004 when the Free Methodist Church at 301 South 6th Street was purchased by the Continental Community Library Association, Inc. The church was renovated and the Continental Library increased from 800 square feet to 3,300 square feet of space. In addition to space for materials, the library also has a conference room and restrooms.
