WELCOME SHOPPERS!! The Continental Community Garage Sales are this weekend and we are ready to show off our community. Be sure to take a break from the garage sales and visit some of our local businesses. Here are a few suggestions:
– Clubhouse Pizza will open at 11:00 on Saturday – have you had their Remos or Chicken Fajita subs? Delicious.
– Christ United Methodist Church on S. Main will have hot dogs and soft drinks – all proceeds go to the Youth.
– Across the street is the Matthews boys with their “Lemon-aide for Luke” – all funds will go to their young friend Luke who was diagnosed with leukemia.
– Subway is on the south end of town also. The Continental Subway has pizza!
– Post 541 Canteen – will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Just walk in, no membership required.
– Ryley’s for your sweet tooth – maybe a sundae or a flurry?
– R&B Meats – take some locally-made “Brechtville” Brats home with you – lots of varieties (personal favorite is the Hawaiian).
– Bloomers Boutique & Coffee offers beautiful home décor, clothing and jewelry, also great coffees and teas – Salted Carmel Chai!
– Bob’s Carryout is known for their popcorn – a yummy snack.
– Main Stop on North Main has carry-out items, coffee, hot chocolate, cappuccino, etc.
– Ace Hardware and Okuley’s Pharmacy also has lots to offer – stop by and browse.
