SAMANTHA (SAM) LOWE—-This is Sam’s first on-stage production, but she is not new to the Drama Department. She worked lights for The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane and is a freshman.
Sam is involved in FCCLA, Big Brothers Big Sisters, marching band, pep band, and choir. Her favorite movie is Sponge Bob, and she is a fan of the older (classic) Sponge Bob episodes.
Sam’s favorite song from Godspell is All For the Best. You can hear Sam’s favorite song, plus many others, at the Continental Drama Department’s performances of Godspell on Friday and Saturday, March 21 and 22 at 7:00 pm, and on Sunday March 23 at 2:30 pm. Tickets are available at the door at $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and students, and $5 for elementary students.
Godspell is a musical about a small group of people helping Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques and hefty doses of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, is employed as the story of Jesus’ life dances across the stage. Dissolving hauntingly into the Last Supper and the Crucifixion, Jesus’ messages of kindness, tolerance and love come vibrantly to life.
