PAM JONES—As the rehearsal pianist, and member of the pit orchestra, this is Pam’s 20th spring musical with the Continental Drama Department. She has also been a part of other area community and school productions. Her top 5 favorite musicals at Continental are Little Shop of Horrors, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Once Upon a Mattress, Newsies, and Seussical. Pam started taking piano lessons when she was 8 and continued until she graduated college. She’ll let you decide just how many years she’s been “sitting on the bench.” Pam also accompanies the high school and junior high choirs at Continental, and assists with Solo and Ensemble contest. She is frequently the pianist for area church services. Pam recently retired after 30+ years as a medical social worker. She enjoys spending her time designing and crocheting afghans. She and her husband Mike live near Continental. Their 3 children have blessed them with 4 grandchildren, and grandbaby number 5 will be arriving later this spring. Pam would like to thank the Continental Drama Department and all the kids for allowing her to be part of the fun, and to Mr. Hoehne for finally getting the piano tuned. “If you cannot teach me to fly, teach me to sing.” {From Peter Pan [J.M. Barrie]} Pam’s favorite song from Godspell is The Willows. Pam encourages you to attend the Continental Drama Department’s performances of Godspell on Friday and Saturday, March 21 and 22 at 7:00 pm, and on Sunday March 23 at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students and senior citizens, and $5 for elementary students, and are available at the door.
