On September 28, Continental Fall Festival 2025 will conclude with the Community Church service at 10am in the tent on Grant Insurance parking lot. Guest speaker for the service is Continental Class of 1980 alum Craig Jones. Craig is a Troop 19 Eagle Scout earning the award in 1978. Craig has been involved with Boy Scouts for many of his adult years. Serving troops in Michigan, Indiana, New York, and Indiana. After retirement Craig started to work at Summit Betchel Scout Reserve with the goal of working during 2019 World Jamoboree. During the World Jamboree Craig served as guest services for the World Jamboree Leadership Team, meeting leaders from all over the world. Craig continued to work at Betchel serving during the 2022 National Jamboree. Craig is planning on being on the staff for the 2026 National Jamboree. This past year Craig worked for a time at the Boy Scout Seabase in Florida and Camp Davey Crocket in Tennessee. Along this scouting journey for over 50 years, Craig has witnessed the work of the Lord in many avenues at many sites. Please join us on Sunday September 28 to hear how God is alive in scouting.
