Kaitlyn Alvarado is the daughter of Rob and Christi Alvarado. Throughout high school, Kaitlyn played soccer and basketball, serving as team captain in soccer and earning county and district awards. She took part in National Honor Society, coached mini-Pirates, and volunteered for various other activities. Upon graduation, Kaitlyn plans on attending the University of Findlay and pursuing Pharmacy.
Leah Baker is the daughter of Tammy and Christopher Baker. Leah is the president of both National Honor Society and Student Council. She is also a 4-year varsity letter winner in volleyball, head of the Volley for Vets fundraiser, a volunteer for the Joni & Friends organization, and a member of the CHS Drama Department. In the fall, Leah will be attending The Ohio State University in the Pre-Occupational Therapy Program. She will be majoring in “Health Promotion, Nutrition, & Exercise Science,” with a minor in art and certification in American Sign Language.
Sydney Eickholt is the daughter of the late Bryon Eickholt and Jeremy and Rebecca Schnipke. Throughout high school Sydney was involved in multiple extracurricular activities including National Honor Society and varsity volleyball where she was captain all four years. Sydney works at Split Ends Hair Salon in Continental in her free time. In the future, Sydney plans to attend Rhodes State for nursing in honor and memory of her father.
Kenny Grant is the son of Cheryl and Kevin Grant. During high school, Kenny was in choir and was an office aide. He is a member of the National Honor Society. In his spare time, Kenny works at Kohls Market in Ottawa. Upon graduation, Kenny plans to attend Bowling Green State University majoring in Flight Technology and Operations, then planning to become a commercial pilot.
Amber Logan is the daughter of Virginia McMonigal and Chris Hageman. During high school,
Amber has played volleyball, basketball and softball and she served as the captain for all the teams. She is a member of the National Honor Society, participated with the mini-Pirates program, and helped coach junior high softball. Upon graduation, Amber plans to attend Rhodes State College, majoring in radiographic imaging.
Austin Morrison is the son of Allyson Gooldy and Eric and Patty Morrison. Austin has attended Vantage Career Center his junior and senior years in the Network Systems Program. While at Vantage, he was involved in Business Professionals of America where he we went to State competition both years for JAVA Programming (junior year) and Parliamentary Procedure (senior year). Austin also participated on the varsity soccer team. Upon graduation, Austin will be attending The University of Northwestern Ohio in the fall, majoring in IT Systems Administration.
Caleb Olds is the son of Chad and Loretta Olds. He is a member of the National Honor Society and has been a member of the varsity basketball program for four years where he served as a team captain. Along with that, he has coached the mini-Pirate program and has been a blood donor for the Red Cross. He also plays on the varsity baseball team and is active in the Continental United Methodist Church youth group. Upon graduation, he is planning to attend Rhodes State College with an undecided major.
Chris Potts is the son of Dennis and Tracy Potts. He was secretary of the Student Council and participated in the National Honor Society, varsity soccer, basketball, and baseball. He received Second Team PCL honors in soccer and was a member of the Crow’s Nest. His future plans are to major in Mechanical Engineering Technology at the University of Dayton.
Andrea Snow is the daughter of Barb and Gary Snow. She attends Vantage Career Center and is a member of the National Technical Honor Society. In her spare time, she works at Cosmos in Defiance. Being an active member at her church, as she is, led her to begin teaching junior church on Sunday mornings. Upon graduation Andrea plans to attend OSU and pursue a career in education.
Hannah Troyer is the daughter of Kenneth and Brenda Troyer. She was a member of the National Honor Society and student council and a member of the varsity volleyball team for four years. In her spare time, Hannah has volunteered at Habitat for Humanity, the Red Cross blood drives, and at the elementary to tutor children in reading. Upon graduation, Hannah will be attending Kent State University to major in both art and Spanish Education.
