On Wednesday night Continental High School Music Department held their 2026 Awards Ceremony.

The Band and Choir will have their Spring Concert on Monday starting at 7:00 in the Casteel Auditorium. The Band will perform in the OMEA State Concert Band Judging on Friday at 8:00 at Findlay High School.
The Cadenza Award is the Director’s Choice, honoring top musicians, The John Philip Sousa Award is a nationally recognized award given to a deserving member, usually a senior, of a high school concert band. Continental’s choirs are under the direction of Laural Alvarado, and the bands are under the baton of Gage Hoehne.
The evening also included a special thank you to Craig & Angie Burgei for serving on the boosters for the last 9 years. They’re service & dedication to the band & Choir at CHS is appreciated by all.
