Princesses, minions, Mary Poppins, a cereal killer (General Mills, I believe), butterflies and zombies were some of the characters that came out to the Continental Lions Club Halloween party at the High School on Thursday night. The crowd also enjoyed a great performance by the CHS Band who honored their new band director, Mr. Swonger by having the crowd join them in singing Happy Birthday.
Too much candy?? Parents of Pirates (PoP) are organizing an “Operation Gratitude” drive. There will be collection bins available at the Elementary school on Friday and Monday for any “extra” Halloween candy. The candy will be shipped to California, packaged, and distributed to our military around the world.
