There have been significant changes to the Continental Local School town bus stops. This was a necessary change, to improve the efficiency of the bus routes.
If your child resides in the Dupont, Cloverdale, or Continental Villages, please note the following changes:
In Dupont, there will be one stop at the Dupont Village Community Park Shelter House. All village students requiring bus transportation should be at this stop by 7:25 a.m. The afternoon stop will be approximately 3:30 p.m. Becki Bidlack, Bus 8, will be making the Dupont bus stop.
In Cloverdale, there will be one stop located at the entrance of the Oak Haven Residential Care Center. Students should be at this stop by 7:25 a.m. The afternoon stop will be at approximately 3:45 p.m. Chris Murphy, Bus 5, will be making the Cloverdale bus stop.
In the Village of Continental, the stops will be as follows:
- Library (Deb Warnimont, Bus 2, 7:45 a.m. and 3:15 p.m.)
- Corner of Fifth and Ash (Becki Bidlack, Bus 8, 7:50 a.m. and 3:15 p.m)
- Continental Missionary Baptist Church Entrance on Ash Street, (Chris Murphy, Bus 5, 7:50 a.m. and 3:15 p.m.)
- Corner of Rice and Seventh Street (Jeff Prowant, Bus 3, 7:55 a.m. and 3:10 p.m.)
- Corner of Fifth and Rice (Becki Bidlack, Bus 8, 7:55 a.m. and 3:10 p.m.)
- Corner of First and Rice,(Chris Murphy, Bus 5, 7:55 a.m. and 3:10 p.m.)
- Masonic Temple (Mary McClure, Bus 9, 7:55 a.m. and 3:10 p.m.)
- Lakeland Estates (Mary McClure, Bus 9, 7:45 a.m. and 3:20 p.m.)
- Trailer Court Entrance (Deb Warnimont, Bus 2, 7:50 a.m. and 3:12 p.m.)
- Corner of Sixth and Elm (Deb Warnimont, Bus 2, 7:48 a.m. and 3:14 p.m.)
Parents of students in the Continental Village will be receiving a letter in the mail designating their child’s bus stop location. If you live in the Village of Continental and do not receive your letter, please contact the school at 419-596-3671.
