The Pirate Band is proudly growing in numbers and will soon not have enough uniforms to suit all the kids. The average lifespan of a marching band uniform is six to eight years. With diligent care the Continental Pirate Band’s uniforms have exceeded their life expectancy and are 20 plus years old. While the uniforms look nice from a distance, many are beyond repair with worn, frayed fabric, broken zippers, and missing buttons. The approximate cost of each uniform is $400.00-$450.00. We will need to order 100 uniforms in order to stock our inventory with a large enough variety to fit the Continental Pirate Marching Band for the life of the new uniforms. This would bring our total investment to approximately $45,000.00.
