Everyone learned a new craft yesterday at the February meeting of Continental Senior Connections with several commenting how much they enjoyed it! After lunch and a brief talk about upcoming events and opportunities, Jan Winkle shared one of her favorite pastimes – Diamond Art! Jan told us how she got started on this hobby which has only been around since 2010 and displayed many of her beautiful finished projects. Everyone then received a key chain kit to try their own hand at diamond painting (thank you Lila!). We found it to be a very easy craft to do and very low cost. (How many of you ordered your own kits that evening? I did!) Thank you for sharing, Jan, it was fun to learn something new!
There were 29 present with some new to the group joining us. The Share Table had a lot of good items and required 2 tables! Thank you to everyone for coming out to grow our new senior citizens group.

March Mtg – Tuesday, Mar 11, 11:30 at the Legion. Allie Rosebrock will be sharing the benefits of Tai Chi. All are invited to join us!
