When’s the next meeting they ask! The Continental Senior Connections will meet again on Tuesday, August 13 at 11:30 at the Continental American Legion. The same as last month, we will be ordering off the menu (at your own cost) with a program to follow – Dr. Stacie Hicks will be joining us!
The committee met and here are some new opportunities we are adding:
Share Table – do you have extra garden produce, a book you’ve read, a plant that has starts, something you would like to share. Place it on the table and if its not picked up, you will take it back home. NO medications!
50/50 Raffle – Lila & Carol, our treasurers, are doing a great job protecting the $64 in donations collected at the last meeting. We will add a little fun with a 50/50 raffle and see how it goes.
Chat & Chow – sign up for a restaurant outing. More info at the meeting.
Game Time – On Tuesday, August 27, 1:30 – 3:30 the Community Room at the Library will be open. Bring your own non-alcoholic refreshments and Sherry will lead you in a game of Hand & Foot!
Come & join us on Tuesday, August 13 and be a part of Continental’s new senior citizen group. There is no age limit, if you feel you belong, you do! Bring a friend and we’ll see you there!
