Continental Senior Connections met on Tuesday, June 9th, when twenty-six senior citizens enjoyed the Container Gardening presentation by Beth Schecklehoff of the Putnam County OSU Extension Office. Did anyone else find the flower deals Beth shared with us? Her enthusiasm for gardening was contagious and we are so glad Beth shared her passion with us. It’s always great to learn something new – container pots need a thriller, a spiller and a filler!
Our July meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 14 at 11:30 in the Small Hall at the Continental American Legion. We will be celebrating the group’s 2nd anniversary. The first meeting of Continental Senior Connections was held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. The group has consistently had solid attendance of 20-35 seniors attending their monthly gatherings. Its a great time of connecting with others and recieving a wide variety of information from our presenters. Come and join us on the the 14th and bring a friend!
