You’re invited! Continental Senior Connections will meet on Tuesday, May 13 at 11:30 in the small hall at the Continental American Legion. We will be ordering off the menu, followed by a presentation of upcoming events. Our guest speaker is Steve Coble and he will be sharing his knowledge of Cast Iron Cookware! How to season and maintain your pans, cooking temperatures, what oil to use, how to clean and much more. Bring a piece of cookware with you if you would like to know more about it – where/when it was made, what you need to do to get it usable again, etc. We are excited about this program and hope you bring a friend with you.
There will once again be a Share Table – bring something you no longer use/need that someone else may be looking for. Typical items on the Share Table are books, magazines, gently used clothing, seeds, etc. If its still on the table when the meeting is over, please take the item back home. No medications!
About our meetings – there are no dues, no memberships, no one will card you at the door to verify your age or residency. We are a group that meets to share news and opportunities that are relevent to the senior citizens in our area. The Continental Senior Connections meetings are open to all. Join us!
