The community’s new senior citizens group, Continental Senior Connections, will hold their monthly meeting on Tuesday, November 12 at 11:30 in the Small Hall at the Continental American Legion. Once again we will be ordering off the menu (at your own cost). The Canteen special that day is smoked sausage, sauerkraut and mashed potatoes!
Our guest speaker this month is Todd James, Exectutive Director of the North Central Ohio Red Cross. We will also be having a silent auction fundraiser. If you would like to contribute, please bring an item (such as a plant you no longer want to take care of, a gift you never gave, something you bought but doesn’t fit, something you made, etc…..). There will not be a share table this month.
Continental Senior Connections is open to all – there is no age requirement and one doesn’t have to be a Continental resident (but we would love to see some of our CHS alumni again!). Our goal is to get our senior community connected, to socialize, to learn about the opportunities that are available and to ENJOY this time in their lives. Come on Tuesday & join us!
