2025! Can you believe it? Remember when we were kids and time passed so slow – it seemed like it was forever until we could drive, could date, leave home, etc. Not so anymore, time rolls along pretty quickly these days!
Are you a New Year’s resolution maker? Whether you are or not, I hope everyone has a positive attitude to start this new year with the intentions of being more active, informed and connected. Continental Senior Connections is a great way to accomplish those goals!
Our first senior citizens meeting of 2025 will be on Tuesday, January 14 at 11:30 in the American Legion Small Hall. Steve Coble will be sharing his vast knowledge of cast iron cookware – how to restore, maintain, cook in it, how old it is and much more. If you have a piece of cast iron cookware you would like for Steve to check out, be sure to bring it with you. We will be ordering off the menu (at your own cost) for lunch and there will also be a Share Table. Be sure to invite a friend – Continental Senior Connections is open to anyone! We DO NOT check ID’s for age or address verification. We would love to see former local residents join us. Hope to see you all on the 14th!
