On Friday, 5/17, the Junior Gardeners met at the Continental American Legion. Under the direction of Charlene Finch and with help from parents and grandparents, the gardeners planted petunias and geraniums near the veterans memorial just in time for Memorial Day. The Junior Gardeners will be planting flowers at the library and park and will also be putting in a vegetable garden. Other summer activities include field trips and crafts.
