After continuing to monitor the current situation and reviewing what other municipalities have done around us, we have made the difficult decision to close Sparking Park for the time being. This is not something we came to lightly but in talking with the Putnam County Health Department and other officials we believe this will be the best move going forward as we continue to hopefully minimize the impact our community will see from COVID-19. The village encourages everyone to get out, stretch your legs, and enjoy the fresh air of Spring while maintaining safe distances and taking proper precautions to ensure all of our residents can find peace in this time of uncertainty.
