
On Tuesday Continental High Girls Basketball was frigid from the field when they hosted Lima Perry in a non league game. It was all Commodores as they put in all 7 points scored. The Pirates offense got on the board in the second quarter as they put in a trio of baskets but it was the Commodores won the quarter with 14. Commodores 21-6 at half. The third quarter had the Pirates make one basket while the Commodores scored 17. 38-8 after 3. The fourth quarter was a bookend to the first as Perry put in all 7 points. Commodores 45-8 final.
Olivia Crossgrove broke the school record for blocks in a season. Liv has had 42 blocks, besting Cate Etter’s record of 37.
Makenzie Shock led the Pirates with 4 points. Olivia Crossgrove and Mallorie Barnhart both scored 2. Crossgrove garnered 14 rebounds and had 6 blocks.
Continental falls to 0-13 and will travel Fort Jennings on Thursday for a Putnam County League game. Lima Perry improves to 9-4.
