The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Watch for our area from Saturday through Tuesday evening. In response to this, the Putnam County Office of Public Safety has issued the following statement with designated cooling stations in our county. In Continental the American Legion is the designated site located at 109 S Fifth St during normal business hours.
