Dear Friends,
This year makes the 16th year that Connie and I have been raising money for Diabetes Youth Services (DYS). On February 2nd, I will be swimming 160 lengths (10 for every year). Our goal is to raise $30,000. Since I began swimming for DYS we have raised $211,950.00. The most important thing is the lives of the children with Type 1 Diabetes that have been forever changed after attending camp and other DYS sponsored activities.
All the money we raise goes directly to DYS to provide money for needy children with Type 1 Diabetes to attend educational summer camp. No child will be turned away from camp due to their family financial situation. DYS is an independent 501c(3) non-profit organization. Their website is www.dys4kids.org.
