My wife (Connie) and I moved to Sun City Center, Florida in August. Even though we have moved from Ohio I plan to continue swimming for Diabetes Youth Services (DYS). We have repeatedly seen how the monies we have raised for DYS has changed the lives of these children and their families.
This year our goal is to raise $35,000 and obtain a contribution from every state in the USA. All the money we raise goes directly to DYS to provide money for needy children with TYPE 1 DIABETES to attend educational summer camp. No child will be turned away from camp due to their family financial situation.
This is the 13th year I have been swimming for DYS and on February 2nd I will again be swimming 300 lengths. Last year we raised $33,620.00 and since I began swimming for DYS we have raised $159,607.00.
