My wife Connie and I continue to keep in regular contact with the staff at Diabetes Youth Services (DYS). Although we permanently live in Sun City Center, Florida, we will always treasure our fond memories of the children with Type 1 Diabetes and their families whose lives have been changed by their involvement with DYS.
This is the 14th year I have been swimming for DYS and on February 2nd I will again be swimming 300 lengths. Last year we raised $24,968 and since I began swimming for DYS we have raised $184, 575.
This year our goal is to raise at least $30,000 and obtain a donation from every state in the USA! All the money we raise goes directly to DYS to provide money for needy children with TYPE 1 DIABETES to attend educational summer camp. No child will be turned away from camp due to their family financial situation.
