On Monday, September 6, 2021, Larry and Karen (Jones) Donaldson celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary. They were married on September 6, 1980 at Christ United Methodist Church in Continental with Reverend David Chivington officiating. Groomsmen were Rick Donaldson, Steve Donaldson, Harold Donaldson, Denny Donaldson, and Dick Morgan. Bridesmaids were Cindy Jones-Rue, Roxy Jones-Chivington, Joni Prowant, Kelly Gilbert, and Cathy Woodburn. Flower girl was Annette Rue and Jason Rue was the ring-bearer.
Larry and Karen celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a wonderful family cruise to the Bahamas in February 2020, returning 3 weeks before Covid shut down the world. Sons, Asa and Adam, daughter-in-law Denise, and their grandchildren Claire, Connor, Ashton and Chase enjoyed the memorable trip. For their 41st anniversary, a family cook-out and a long-awaited sleep-over for the grandkids marked the occasion. In 2021, Larry & Karen are celebrating the gift of everyday together!
