DUPONT – Dorothy Worline, 100, of Dupont, died 2:53 p.m., Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Putnam Medical Center, Glandorf. She was born March 16, 1922, to the late Herbert Grant and Adria (Ranes) Grant Wagner. On July 26, 1938, she married Kenneth Edward Worline, who died November 25, 1976.
She is survived by three daughters: Peggy Potter of Cloverdale, Shirley Hulett of Cloverdale, and Cindy (Brad) Chrimes of Roanoke, VA; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth “Bub” Worline; 3 grandsons; 2 great-grandsons; and all of her siblings.
Dorothy enjoyed fishing, gardening, mushroom hunting and splitting wood.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Mandale Church of Christ Christion Union with Pastor Tony Gonzales. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Dupont. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 4, 2022 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental and Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the church.
