Continental High School Drama and Music Departments will present “Once Upon a Mattress” on Friday and Saturday, April 4 and 5, at the Irene Wahl Casteel auditorium, at 7:30 each evening. A matinee is scheduled for Thursday, April 3 at 12:45. Tickets are only $6 each, and are available from any cast/crew/pit orchestra member, and will also be available at the door.
Queen Aggravain (Madison Mansfield) has ruled that none may marry until her son, Prince Dauntless (Ian Jones) marries. However, she has managed to sabotage every princess that comes along. When Prince Dauntless falls in love with Princess Winnifred (Bridgette Shelton), the Queen has to devise yet another scheme to prove Winnifred is not a true princess. But King Sextimus (Gabe Recker), Sir Harry (Garrett Recker), Lady Larken (Paige Lawhorn), the Minstrel (Cameron Mason) and the Jester (Gibby Ridgeway) are not going to let this Princess get away.
