Friday night had Continental High Girls basketball traveling to Miller City where the Wildcats are the #1 DVII ranked team in the MAXPreps. The talented Wildcats showed a great balance of offense and defense as they swept all four quarters. In the opening quarter the Wildcats put up 19 to the Pirates 8. The Wildcats took the second quarter 14-2 for a 33-10 lead at half. The Wildcats outpointed the Pirates 19-7 to take a 52-15 lead into the final quarter. A 10-5 Wildcat advantage in the fourth for a 62-22 Wildcat final.
Mckenzie Shock led the Pirates with 7 points. Morgan Shock added 6 points. Kinley Stegbauer added 5 points and Olivia Crossgrove put in 4. The Wildcats had a 4-0 advantage on 3 point shots.
Continental galls to 4-6 (0-2 PCL) and will have a quick turnaround as they travel to Northwood on Saturday. Miller City improves to 11-0 (4-0 PCL).
