Dwayne G. Nienberg, 1960 – 2022

CLOVERDALE – Dwayne G. Nienberg, 61, of Cloverdale died 4:45 a.m. Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.  He was born August 2, 1960 in Lima to the late George J. and Marie C. (Siefert) Nienberg.  In December of 1986, he married Peggy S. Stewart, who survives in Continental.

Dwayne is survived by 3 children:  Dwayne J. (Janelle) Nienberg of Cloverdale, Jeromy (Alicia) Nienberg of Continental, and Vickie (Clinton) Johns of Lima; 8 grandchildren:  Andrew, Lillie, Dwayne D., Tabatha, Lizzey, Laney, Grace and Layla; a brother:  Eugene (Norleen) Nienberg of Bluffton, 2 sisters-in-law:  Mary Nienberg of Continental and Cindy Nienberg of Columbus Grove and a brother-in-law:  Joe Niese of Ottawa.

He is preceded in death by 4 brothers:  Ronald, Arthur, Donald and Rick Nienberg and a sister:  Jo Ann Niese.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  He was a career truck driver since 1978 and was currently working for B & B Trucking.

The Nienberg family will hold a private service at a later date.  The arrangements are under the direction of HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental.  Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.heitmeyerfuneralhome.com.
