When it was the Pirates turn for OHSAA Elida Division IV Softball Seeding they could either choose to host a Sectional Semifinal where the winner would take on #1 seed Parkway or take on Pirate Tournament nemesis #3 seed Crestview. Continental ended up with the #9 seed and will host #10 seed Kalida on May 6. Taking #1 seed in the District was Parkway. Parkway, out of the Midwest Athletic Conference, is currently ranked 4th in DIV in the latest Softball Coaches poll. Teams taking byes to the sectional finals were #1 Parkway, #2 Wayne Trace, #4 Lincolnview, #5 Miller City and #6 Columbus Grove. #3 Crestview choose to play a sectional semifinal and will meet Ottoville there.
Sectional Semifinals and Finals are held at the better seeded location. District games are played at Elida Middle School
