Miller City (14-2) claimed the top spot in the of the Elida District. As #1 seed they have a bye and will play the winner of #8 seed Fort Jennings (4-14) and #10 Pandora Gilboa (2-16). Pandora Gilboa is at Fort Jennings on Saturday May 9 at 11. #3 Leipsic (10-9) and #5 Ottoville (10-6) play in the other half of the bracket.
Kalida (16-3-1) garnered the #2 seed and has a bye and will the play the winner of #7 Holgate (5-12) and #11 Wayne Trace (2-16). Wayne Trace is at Holgate on Saturday May 9 at 5.
Columbus Grove (8-6) got the #4 seed and will play the winner of #6 seed Patrick Henry (5-9) and #9 Continental (2-12). Patrick Henry hosts the Pirates on May 9 at 5. This is a rematch of a game last week where the Patroits held on for a 1 run win. The Pirates enter sectional play on a 3 game winning streak.
The Sectional Final games will held at Miller City, Kalida, Leipsic, and Columbus Grove on May 13 at 5 pm.
May 20 is the day of district semifinals at Elida. Miller City and Ottoville sectional final game winners will play at 2:00 while the Kalida and Columbus Grove sectional final game winners at 4:15. District Finals will be at Elida on May 23 at 5:00.
