Friday night had the Continental track team at Edgerton for the Edgerton Invitational. The Pirates were led by Jonathon Etter, Makenzie Shock, and Brady Thomsen who each medaled twice. On the Boys side Etter won the Pole Vault and placed 5th in the 110M Hurdles. Thomsen placed 4th in the Shot Put and 5th in the Discus. Grant Clementz placed 3rd in the 400M. Peyton Wilson was 6th in the 100M. On the Girls side Shock had a pair of 4th place finishes in the hurdle events. Adrianna Jones placed 6th in the 200M. Destiny Pier placed 6th in the Shot Put.
Fairview won the girls event with 120 points with Wayne Trace 2nd with 100 points. The Pirates placed 8 in the 9 team event with 10 points. Host Edgerton won the boys event with 96 points. Ottoville was second with 84 points. Continental was 8th with 25 points. Continental Track will next compete on Tuesday at a Quad Meet at Antwerp.
