Jonathon Etter (2), Makenzie Shock (2), Adrianna Jones and the boys 4×200 relay all claimed first for Continental High in the Antwerp Quad meet held Tuesday night. Etter picked up a pair of first for the Boys team as he medaled in the 110M Hurdles and Pole Vault. The Boys 4×200 relay claimed the other Boys first place finish. Dominique Hammond placed 3rd in the Shot Put along with the Boys 4×400 relay. Malik James placed 4th in the 400M, and Cameron Gurgei placed 4th in the 800M for the boys. On the Girls side Makenzie Shock swept the hurdle events claiming 1st in the 100M Hurdles and 300M Hurdles. Adrianna Jones added a first place for the Pirate Girls in the Long Jump. Destiny Pier placed 2nd in the 100M and 4th in the Discus. Morgan Shock placed 2nd in the 3200M. The Pirates competed against Fort Jennings, Edgerton, and Antwerp.
Continental High’s next meet is the Putnam County League Track meet at Columbus Grove on Friday.
