
Jonathon Etter paced the Continental High Track Team on Thursday as he placed 1st the Boys 110 Hurdles at the 11 team Wayne Trace Invitational. Elijah Mayes placed 3rd in the Boys 400 having the same time as the second place runner. On the Girls side, Bryn Tegenkamp, Desinty Pier, and Jensen Prowant all had placement in 3 events. Tegenkamp placed 2nd in the 800, tied for 4th in High Jump, and was part of the 5th place 4×200 relay. Pier place 4th in the 100 and was part of the 4th place 4×100 and 6th 4×200 relays. Prowant tied for 4th in the High Jump and was part of the 4th place 4×100 and 6th 4×200 relays.
Tinora claimed the crown in both the girls and boys team events. A close race for the title had the Rams with 118.33 points and host Wayne Trace a close second at 115 points. Continental was 8th with 19.66 points. On the boys side the Rams ran ways with the title with 110 points with Fairview placing second with 79 points. Continental was 9th with 17 points. Continentals Track teams are at the Patrick Henry Joe Tussing Invitational on Saturday.
