The Fairview Apaches traveled to Continental and found the Pirates basket friendly as they opened up a 24 point lead at half. Fairview put up 15 points in the first quarter to the Pirates 9 for a 6 point lead after 1. It was all Apaches in the second as they added 22 points to their total while holding the Pirates to 6 points. Apaches 37-15 at half. The Apaches added 6 points to their lead in the third quarter. Apaches 55-25 after 3. A close fourth quarter had the Apaches leave with a 65-32 victory.
The Pirates were led by Bryn Tegenkamp with 19 points while Macie Cordes added 4 points. Makenzie Shock put in 3 pointes and Reese Knowles, Olivia Crossgrove and Cheyenne Rose all had 2 points.
Continental falls to 0-5 and will host Holgate on Thursday. Fairview improves to 4-2.
