Saturday late afternoon had Continental High traveling an hour plus to greater Mount Blanchard to take on Riverdale in non league action. In a defensive battle both teams were limited on shot attempts with the Falcons controlling the action. The Pirates had a great opportunity in the first half at 22:18 as they had a 1 on 1 attempt that got stopped by the goalie. Excellent play by Goalie Mackenzie Niese and the defense held the defending Bluffton DIII District champs scoreless till 4:54 left in the game when the Falcons found the back of the net. Falcons 1-0 final.
