Meet Willow. She is around 1-2 years old and is apparently a German Shepherd/Husky mix. Willow still has plenty of puppy in her as she is full of energy and very playful as well as just lounge around! She is very friendly and likes attention. Since Willow has a lot of energy, she might be best around older kids. Not sure how she does around other dogs or cats. I believe that with some training, Willow could be a even better dog. Adoption fee is only $70 which includes dog license. Please stop by on Thursdays from Noon – 1 pm or Saturdays from 9 am – 10 am to check Willow out. Willow was never found as a stray on a county road outside of Continental. The people that turned her in were Willow’s actual owners that live in Continental. There is a possibility that the owners will be charged for providing false information once the dog warden speaks with the Prosecutor’s Office.
Just be open and honest about the dog. It is not real hard to tell the truth! Paying the owner surrender fee is far more cheaper than possibly having to pay up to a $1000 fine and/or 6 months in jail.
