This past weekend, Vantage Auto Tech senior Jordan Wilhelm (Delphos St. John’s) competed in the University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH) High School Nationals Race at the Summit Motorsports Park, in Norwalk, Ohio. The event was advertised as the chance for students from all over Ohio to compete with any street legal vehicle and a driver’s license. The grand prize for this event is a $10,000 scholarship to UNOH. Over 300 vehicles entered in this competition and we are proud to say that Jordan Wilhelm not only competed but was the overall winner and took home the $10,000 scholarship to UNOH. This worked out great for Jordan who was already planning on attending UNOH in the High Performance program. Jordan also will get the honor of being an honorary crew member for the day for the Amalie OIL/UNOH Top Fuel team of Terry McMillen at the upcoming Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals to be held at Summit Motorsports Park, July 2 -5, 2015.
