
Friday night saw Continental claim three firsts and set one school record at the Putnam County League Meet held at Ottoville. Junior Brady Thomsen led the Pirates with a school record throw in the Discus, throwing for 151′. The record was previously held by Brandon Clementz. Sophomore Grant Clementz claimed first in the 100M and 400M along with a 3rd in the 200M as the Pirates would place in all the running events except the 1600M. Senior Collin Davis placed in both the 100M 7th and 400M 3rd. Tyson Clementz placed 6th in both Hurdle events. Senior Elijah Miler placed 4th in the 800M. The Pirates put points on the board in all 4 relay with the 4×400 team placing 3rd.
On the Girls side Mackenzie Shock placed in both Hurdle events while Cassie Pier placed in the Shot Put. The Pirates got a pair of placements in the Pole Vault with Trinity Starr and Kaylee Boecker both jumping 7 foot. Columbus Grove ran away with both titles while the Pirate boys placed 5th and the Pirate Girls placing 7th.
