Get your 2020 Putnam County Dog License at the Putnam County Dog Shelter on Saturday January 25, 2020 from 9 am – Noon and again on Thursday January 30. 2020 from 5 pm – 8 pm. Dog license are only $14 per dog and cash or check will be accepted at the dog shelter. Dog License for 2020 are due on Friday January 31, 2020 to avoid a penalty. You can still purchase dog license online with a credit card at www.co.putnam.oh.us and click “Online Dog Licensing” orwww.doglicenses.us/OH/Putnam. You will need your 2019 dog license number (not your account number) to renew online. You should have til around 11:59 pm on January 31, 2020 to renew online.
ALL dogs over the age of 3 months are required by State of Ohio Law to have a current dog license and have the dog license on the dog. Failure to license your dog, can result in charges being filed for Failure to Register Dog. The court cost and fine will cost far more than the price of the dog license.
