Tuesday saw Continental host Archbold in a battle of MAXPrep DV ranked Girls Soccer teams. The Pirates came in ranked 12 while the Blue Streaks are ranked 9. The battle for Defiance seeding position had the Blue Streaks score the only goal in the first half. The Blue Streaks rolled in the second half to take a 4-0 decision.
From Coach Bidlack: The Lady Pirates had a rough night as the Lady Streaks of Archbold handed us our second loss. Our Player of the Game goes to Leah Searfoss for her excellent work on the defensive end.
Continental falls to 8-2-2 and will travel to Columbus Grove on Thursday for another battle of top tanked DV teams. The Bulldogs are currently ranked 13 and are coached by CHS grad Alex Hoeffel. Archbold improves to 8-2.
