My first thought of the Continental High School production of the High School Play Tarzan.. I do not converse in Ape and a lot of the dialogue is in Ape. Will that be a problem? Rest assured that will not prevent you from enjoying the show. Tarzan starts with an Ape tribe mother, Kala, adopting an orphaned human baby against the tribe leader wishes. Watch as Tarzan grows with his ape friend Terk from youth to adulthood is a significant portion of the first act. Tarzan discovers some of the differences between him and Terk as they go about performing tasks. By the end of the first act Tarzan is an adult mixing in with the ape tribe much to the disdain of the Tribe lead Kerchak. The second half has the tribe discovering an expedition camp and later on Tarzan meets Jane. There is a lot more to the show so come on out to the Castell Auditorium on Saturday night at 7 pm or Sunday afternoon at 2:30 and you will not be disappointed, even if you do not understand ape.
