The best thing about a really challenging day is at the end of the day being able to do a big fist pump in the air and shouting “I did it!” It rained for most of the 47 miles for the GOBA riders today. It was also very hilly for being billed as a “flat” year. The rain caused slick spots and at least two riders got EMS rides today.
GOBA travels on secondary roads and one gets to see roads not much traveled. Breakfast was in Lawrenceville, lunch in New Carlisle, and break in Tipp City. Camping tonight and tomorrow night in the Troy City Park, a beautiful shaded park along the Miami River. Tomorrow is a rest day!
