The Van Wert County Bluegrass Festival kicked off last night in the Dairy Barn at the Van Wert County Fairgrounds. Great weather and windmills added to evening. The bands began at noon today and will play until 11pm tonight. Charity Moore and the Big Ugly Boys, Flatland Grass, Brian Holbooks and Poorbottom Grass, New Outlook, Echo Valley, and Steve Scott and the Scott Brothers will be performing tonight in the Dairy Barn. It’s worth the drive to Van Wert to enjoy this festival of great bluegrass music! Bring a yard chair and listen to Fox On The Run, Blue Virginia Blue, Cabin on the Hill, Man of Constant Sorrows, and many more favorites. The festival ends Sunday at 1pm.
