The GREAT First District Legion Riders presenting the trophies that we won at the Veterans Matter ride this past weekend to Commander Jason Rue. Commander Rue asked that those trophies be displayed at the posts that have a Legion Riders Chapter for a month, then move on. The Legion Riders, then decided that if a Riders group was to grab them before the display month was up, it would require a $40 donation to Veterans Matter to grab them. The Great First District donated $6069! That donation alone will house 8 homeless veterans! Great job First District doing what we do!
