A good crowd was on hand on Saturday, January 31st, as Winnow-Arn Post 541 hosted the Great First District’s Chili Cook-Off. Thirteen pots of chili were entered in the contest – a round of samples was very filling. Awards were given for Peoples Choice and Judges Choice. Congratulations to Elmore Sons of the American Legion Post 279, the Judges Choice winner and to Richard Zulch of Post 725 Portage, Ohio whose entry was voted Peoples Choice winner.
